A new subsurface construction method that is growing quickly in the construction and civil engineering industry will be presented at Oil & Gas 2017 in Cape Town.

Set up in 2005 as part of the Martin and East group companies, TT Innovations chooses the expo to intreodcue the technology to other markets compared with its existing, successful, client base: “We are doing a fair amount of work for various municipalities but now we are looking to reach out to a different market in the oil & gas sector.”

Methods include:
  • Horizontal directional drilling
  • Jpe bursting
  • Pipe
  • Ramming
  • Fold and form pipe
  • Sliplining
  • CCTV pipe inspection
  • De-watering
  • Deep excavation and shoring
  • Jet cleaning of pipes
Abraham Avenant, from TT Innovations, said: “We want to inform managers of underground infrastructure like municipalities, large factories, and refineries of the trenchless methods available to rehabilitate their ageing infrastructure and the time and cost savings available through and implementation of these methods.”

“We think that some of our methods might be useful in the rehabilitation of ageing infrastructure at refineries.”

TT Innovations is a specialist trenchless technology provider that offers innovative underground drilling and construction solutions and the team can be found at CTICC, Cape Town between July 11 to 13.
